MUSICdise Launches Online - Debuts First Artist

August 26, 2021 – Los Angeles, CA -- MUSICdise, a music marketing, merchandising, and licensing agency launches online at www.musicdise.com with the promise of a more creative and personable approach. Founded by Hollywood designer Philip Warbasse and incubated at Warbasse Media, MUSICdise offers creative assets to help artists stand out and professional representation to get them in front of the right people for merchandising and sync deals.

The growth of digital entertainment provides new licensing opportunities every day, but many unsigned artists find themselves overwhelmed at the prospect of marketing their music. Warbasse insists that colossal music licensing websites only obscure unsigned artists by adding them to a never-ending list of musicians hoping to get discovered. "I see the need to stay small," says Warbasse, "to be keenly aware of the artists and songs I represent, to know the lyrics, tempo, and temperature. Warbasse, who has over twenty years of experience as a media agency owner with numerous high-profile clients, claims success starts with one's approach. According to Warbasse, the difference at MUSCdise is the creative approach taken to position each client. "We use digital codes to deliver music quickly from our creative one-sheets that include information designed to simplify the music selection process," says Warbasse.

When it comes to getting sync deals for unsigned acts, Warbasse isn't worried. "The music supervisors that I know have a lot of personal integrity, and they will fight for an unsigned artist if they think their song is a good fit for the project," says Warbasse. Explaining that film directors and studios have confidence in their music supervisors who understand unsigned artists can help balance a soundtrack and budget.

MUSICdise's first signed artist is publisher turned musician Tod Lippy. Lippy, the creator, and force behind arts magazine ESOPUS explains his relationship with Warbasse and MUSICdise.
